On July 17th at 5:30pm, Gene Pokorny, principal tuba player for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and pianist Patrick Godon will take the stage for an intimate recital featuring works written and arranged for tuba. The hour-long program will feature Bruce Broughton’s 2011 composition “Turbulence.” for tuba and piano.
