World Premiere of Broughton’s Grimm Tales at Carnegie Hall
A Special Performance by the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony
On Friday, June 9th, three of the five movements from Bruce Broughton’s symphonic wind suite, Grimm Tales, will be premiered at Carnegie Hall in a program performed by the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony, Dr. Scott A. Stewart conducting. Based on the familiar stories of the Grimm Brothers, the three pieces include Little Red Riding Hood, with the saxophone section playing the part of the wolf; The Shoes that Were Danced to Pieces; and The Musicians of Bremen. The program will be conducted by Dr. Scott A. Stewart.
